Apple has just announced that tickets for its next Worldwide Developer Conference event will go onsale tomorrow with developers likely to get their hands on the next innovations in iOS and OS-X.
Hands-On the Good Stuff
Apple will hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) during June from the 10th to the 14th at the usual Moscone West venue. At the event, developers from around the world will learn about the future of iOS and OS X, and get help in creating the next generation of apps that will power iPhones, iPads and Macs.
Activities scheduled for the event include technical sessions with Apple engineers, over 100 hands-on labs and events to provide developers with code-level assistance, plus insights into development techniques and user experience. For users, it should give us a first look at what's cooking in iOS 7.0.
Guides and tips on the latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS and OS X, and how to enhance an app's functionality, performance, quality and design, plus the usual networking and socializing opportunities will also be on offer.
The Hot Ticket
Tickets go onsale Thursday and will be available from Apple's WWDC site at 10AM Pacific time. They usually sell out in hours, if not minutes so be quick.
Apple yesterday posted firm sales figures and revenues but has to be aware that its next-gen devices and ecosystems will be essential to maintain any level of growth in the face of rampant Android adoption and impressive devices like Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 from increasingly focused competitors.
